Electronic Discovery Lawyer with a deep technical background, who has over 25 years of experience in law and technology. A licensed lawyer in Oregon and Washington, and certified in Computer Forensics, and Electronic Counter Surveillance. One of the leading e-discovery lawyers in the country, providing legal/technology consulting and expert witness services to the United States Government, Fortune 500 Corporations, Law Firms, and E-Discovery Service Providers.
The former Chief Technology Officer of e-discovery services provider Fios, Inc., regularly presents keynotes and sessions at legal conferences and CLE’s across the United States and Canada and over 50 software-programming conferences worldwide (United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia). In addition to speaking engagements, he has authored five books on law and technology.
He has also written major software systems for e-discovery vendors, law firms, and corporate clients. The Legal Operation Tracking System is a comprehensive program that tracks all legal matters within a corporate legal department, including its collection of documents and electronically stored information, enabling faster and more defensible discovery. This application is used by two Fortune 500 companies.
In his spare time, he enjoys bicycle touring. He has ridden his bicycle across the United States twice and completed bike trips internationally. Tom is also a dedicated volunteer at SCORE, Mercy Corps, and SnowCap providing seminars, pro bono programming and website development services.
Sarah Adams, E-Discovery Lawyer
Sarah obtained her law degree at the Northwestern Law School of Lewis and Clark College, and her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University after studying in Southern Oregon and the University of Guanajuato in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Sarah is gifted at document, email and data review to analyze information to find the key evidence quickly.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys gardening, commuting by bicycle, and barbeques with friends and family.
